On the Move
Ivelisse has scooted herself off the play gym mat. She has become quite the mover. She is scooting herself around while on her back and is rolling from her back to side. It won't be long until she is rolling completely over!
And just because she is so cute...

Happy St. Pat's!
We went to Fort Mill for the weekend to visit my parents. EV was all dressed up for St. Pats! She even took a "ride" on Popee's bike!

Play Time
Ivelisse has discovered that she can reach the toys hanging from the play gym for a couple weeks now. She is also making efforts to put then in her mouth.

Healthy Baby
EV went to her 2 month check up today! She is now 9lbs. 6oz. and 23 1/2in long. She is on the small side, but so is her mom and dad (at least short side, lol). She had to get shots too. Not sure for whom was is more traumatizing- me or her. Our good friend "Dr." Timmy held her down, as I could not bring myself to do it! Everything checked out and she got a good bill of health.

No More Bassinet
For the first month, we kept Ivelisse in a bassinet that fit inside a pack-n-play next to our bed. We tried putting her in her crib a couple nights, but she was not having it. I was perfectly ok with keeping her in our room for as long as needed; while Stephen insisted that we transition her to her crib. I tried swaddenling her and placing her in the crib-did not work. I tried letting her fall alseep on me then place her in the crib-did not work. Stephen had the great idea to put the bassinet in her crib for a while and then eventually take out the bassinet. One night I decided to do it and voila! She is now sleeping in her crib without any aid!
